🏛 Public sector

Address API for municipalities,
regions and the state.

The same endpoints and response format as DAWA, which closed on 1 October 2026 — with e-invoicing to your EAN number, hosting in the EU and fixed, public prices.

What you get

📄 OIOUBL e-invoice

Enter your EAN number in the dashboard. Invoices are issued as OIOUBL 2.1 with your EAN as the receiving endpoint, for delivery via NemHandel.

🇪🇺 Hosting in the EU

The API, accounts and logs run on servers in the EU. Address data comes from the Danish registers (DAR, DAGI, BBR, Matriklen) via Datafordeleren.

🔐 Access control

Two-factor login, API keys stored only as hashes, browser keys locked to your own domains, and an audit log of changes to accounts and keys.

📋 Data processing agreement

A data processing agreement (DPA) is part of Enterprise agreements — see the terms. Write to us if you need one.

🇩🇰 Danish contract

Danish law, Copenhagen City Court as venue, support in Danish and English. Response time follows your plan — see support.

⚖️ Uptime target

99.9 % monthly (Pro) and 99.99 % (Enterprise). Compensation if we miss it, as described in the terms. Live status on /status.

Typical usage in municipalities

Self-service portals

Address autocomplete in forms, plus parish, police district and other DAGI areas from the citizen's address.

Building cases

BBR building data and cadastre for an address — year built, area, use code — straight into the case.

Home care & routes

Geocode citizen addresses for route planning — one at a time or as a CSV bulk job.

Registers & data quality

Clean address lists with address cleansing (category A/B/C) and keep a local copy current with replication.

Waste collection

Geocoding and BBR building IDs as a stable key between address, building and container.

Emergency services

Reverse geocoding from a coordinate to the nearest address.

How to buy

Our prices are fixed and public, so smaller agreements can often be bought directly. Check your own procurement rules.

Example: Pro includes 350,000 calls/month for 279 DKK/month (223 DKK/month billed yearly), ex VAT.

# Good practice
- Send only the address — no CPR number or other personal data
- Use a browser key locked to your domains in the frontend
- Store the address ID (UUID), not just the text

E-invoicing — how it works

  1. Create an account and enter your EAN number (13 digits) under billing details in the dashboard.
  2. Choose yearly or monthly payment on invoice.
  3. The invoice is issued as OIOUBL 2.1 with your EAN number as the receiver and delivered via NemHandel to your finance system.
